Founder & Director
Dr. Shepard is an experienced educational leader and community advocate with a background that includes serving as a college professor, school leader, and executive leader across K–12 education and nonprofit organizations. His work has focused on youth development, workforce pathways, and community impact.
Through New Page Second Chance Living, Dr. Shepard is committed to creating structured environments that promote stability, accountability, and long-term success for individuals seeking a second chance.
His leadership is grounded in a commitment to service, equity, and creating pathways for individuals to rebuild and move forward with purpose.
Dr. Aaquila Shepard, DNP, FNP-BC
Health & Wellness Director
Dr. Shepard is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) and college professor with extensive experience in primary care, community health, and patient-centered practice. Her work spans clinical, school-based, and community healthcare settings, where she has provided comprehensive care, health education, and preventative services to diverse populations.
Through New Page Second Chance Living, Dr. Shepard leads the health and wellness component of the program by supporting residents through health education, wellness check-ins, and access to care. Her approach emphasizes holistic wellness, prevention, and creating sustainable, healthy lifestyles.
